Featured designs

My passion for art and graphic design positively influences many aspects of my work. I often have several of my own creative projects on the go at once, and sieze every opportunity to use apps like Adobe Photoshop and Canva to create striking designs and images.

Pure Game Guides

In October 2024, while working as an Associate Editor, I relaunched the Pure Game Guides YouTube channel for Dot Esports' parent company, GAMURS. I rebranded the channel by making a new logo, banner, and thumbnail templates with a cohesive, distinct, and slick aesthetic. To see more, check out my featured videos.

Featured images

As an editor for Dot Esports and CBR, I learnt to do everything necessary to make articles stand out from competitors. Featured images are one of the first things potential readers see, so I always strive to create vibrant, eye-catching, clickable images using in-game and developer assets for as many articles as possible.

Social media posts

At Dot Esports, I led a social media campaign to drive traffic to the site's news articles and community stories. I developed templates in Canva for the whole team and created images to encourage clicks and engagement. Once the project was off the ground, Dot Esports hired a designer and SEO manager to create bespoke templates and assist with content creation while I continued to create and schedule my own posts.

Branded assets

At Dot Esports, I developed several assets to improve brand cohesiveness between articles, one of which was a map pin to denote locations for game guides. The pins make it easy for writers to direct readers to specific spot, and are now used site-wide.

Infographics

While working on science magazines for the Graphene Flagship at the University of Cambridge, I developed concepts for infographics, spreads, and visual features, then worked with graphic designers to turn them into clear and cohesive products ready for print.
